Terms of Service

Welcome to SketchLove (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform"). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our services. By registering for or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility and Registration

1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our services.

2. You warrant that the registration information you provide (including but not limited to age, gender, and photos) is true, accurate, and complete.

3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. User Conduct

You agree to use our services in compliance with the following rules and shall not:

• Post or transmit any content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, or violent.
• Impersonate others or use another person's photos or data without authorization.
• Use the Platform for fraud, solicitation, spamming, or any commercial activities.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attack the Platform's servers, networks, or security systems.

3. User Generated Content (UGC) Policy

To ensure a safe and respectful environment, we enforce a strict Zero Tolerance Policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior.

• Filtering and Moderation: All user-generated content (including text, photos, and chat messages) may be reviewed or filtered. We do not tolerate any form of illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, pornographic, or violent content.
• Reporting and Blocking: You can report any offensive content or block abusive users directly within the App. Look for the "Report" or "Block" buttons on user profiles, sketches, and chat interfaces.
• 24-Hour Response: We are committed to maintaining a safe community. Our team will review and act upon all reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. If a violation is confirmed, we will immediately remove the offending content and eject the user responsible.

4. Content and Licensing

1. Your Content: You retain ownership of the content (e.g., photos, text) you upload to the Platform. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute such content for the purpose of operating the services.

2. Platform Content: All designs, graphics, sketch-style processing technology, text, and software on the Platform are the property of SketchLove or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

5. Prohibited Activities and Termination

If you violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to report illegal activities to law enforcement agencies.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

The Platform may offer paid services or subscriptions. All purchases are subject to the refund policies in effect at the time and the terms of the Apple App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The services are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do we guarantee that you will find a match through the Platform. You assume all risks associated with using the services and should exercise caution when interacting with other users (online or offline).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SketchLove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or personal injury), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

For users in the United States, you agree to waive your right to participate in class actions and to resolve disputes through individual arbitration.

In the event of any dispute arising out of these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it amicably; if negotiation fails, the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taiwan District Court as the court of first instance.
